Fosi is is better but but not by much, most noticable difference was bass , more punchy and controlled.

Which is what I reported on in my $90 vs $9000 article :)

What sensitivity are those speakers you built? That Fosi V3 with the 48v power supply can power most speakers to ear-splitting levels. That iotaVX is a fantastic integrated amp by the way and stacking the PA3 would be exceptional with any good speakers, but so is that V3 really at least as far as sound goes.
this is what the build guide shows

226 million subscribers then goes bankrupt.

Hi

They've not been a wildly profitable company but ...

On Audio terms, I can't tell , even on headphones, differences between same piece on Apple Lossless and Spotify and ... Spotify seems to have the best UI and the best predictor of music, for me. So... I listen only Classical Music on Apple Music, Spotify experience is poor when it comes to Classical and Apple Music Classical came with my Apple One subscription (Combine basically most Apple Services in one subscription) ...Bur for other music genres, I seldom use Apple Music. The UI is just bad.. Spotify simplicity of just sending your music to almost anything and controlling it from basically any smart-device, seems to be lost on Apple. despite their Air..thing...

Peace.

Between Qobuz, Tidal, Apple Music, Spotify, Deezer, etc have their own advantages. The best quality sounding on my system is Qobuz, probably not on everyone’s system. It’s my ears only, don’t ask me methodology, citation, etc.

I had mpa-s250nc for a week now and i am quite happy with it.
Compared to Fosi V3 its better in every way (fosi has more bass but kinda unrefined compared to mpa-s250nc) witch i hoped it would be given the price difference.
For me most noticable was how cleaner it sounded and more detail, vocals were more forward and fuller.
Diferences were not night and day but they were noticable when i compared them.
But if it was worth to upgrade amp, i think it will depend on person to person.
For me it was :D

I'll try a different response than the usual you get on ASR.

Nice! Great that you like it. Amplifiers can sound different in accordance to which load is presented to them no doubt.
I will comment on the listening room though. It looks very reflective and if that is your main listening room I would do something about it.

I am looking seriously at Buckeye amps at the moment, and letting that choice take on all newcomers to my consideration list. Buckeye seems like high value for the price. They have a couple of options below $700 last I looked.

That's happening in a year or two from now, first is speaker upgrade. And letting my fosi v3 do the job to get started, I have no problems with that. Good solid amp the fosi.

I think with some simple things, you will get a huge improvement in sound from some treatment. Thick rug, some things on the wall/in front of the wall (books, albums). Maybe a dyi panel or three, made to mimic a frame with some canvas art (no glass), and some material behind it. Or just a few heavy fleece blankets hung up strategically can give you an idea of what treatment does.

Always remember, the room is the most important part of the system. There is a reason people measure, and just about every measure you see on ASR is related to the room.

Fosi v3 for 100$ is a beast.
