Here is another Mission speaker, can't find any reviews, which probably isn't a good sign. Anyone know of any reviews?

There are measurements of some Mission loudspeakers here:

But i'd appreciate if you'd open separate thread if you are interested in discussing performance of models other than Mission 770 and/or 700. Thanks.

I mean it looks great, measures fairly good and all, and is quite nostalgic.

But............
The price is so far out of hand, who would think this is "Worth it"?

I mean I "See" in my mind, maybe a $900-$1500 speaker or so.
But $5000?? :(

What is next, Advent will come back from the grave with a $4,000 OLA or Legacy speaker>?

There is also a cheaper Mission 700:

WOW, I mean it looks great, but I just can not even imagine spending $2,000 on ANY speaker with only a 6.5" woofer and tweeter, in a small box.

I think they priced themselves out of what maybe 90% of people feel a small speaker this size is worth, for what little you are getting.

I wouldn't say it is small
It is 3 times bigger than kef ls50 meta (24 litres vs 8 litres) and plays down to 32 hz in my room
Also twitter has a rear chamber which is quite rare

I thought rear chamber is quite common these days? At least, most decent tweeters should have one?

okay, "mid sized".....sorta.
My point was, it just seems to be very expensive for what it is. Nothing wrong with it and its a good speaker for sure, but just not a great value.

Totally get your point
But I was lucky enough to get it for ~1200 usd with stands in my location
