Master "deals" (massdrop, ebay, Amazon, etc.) Thread on Audio Product Sales

$479 for a new A-S701! EXPIRED.

(For those who don’t know Adorama, they are a well respected photography dealer/authorized dealer of whatever they sell. Legitimate).
It's back on!

Their stock may be legit, but reddit, FakeSpot, and other sources say that the company is terrible at customer service, forgets orders, sends the wrong items, etc:

Proceed with caution! I was about to put in a several hundred dollar order but am going to hold off now I think.

I ordered and it says everything shipped and I chose not to have anything shipped until it was all available. It expires on the 6th

This was true before they changed fulfillment companies. In the last six or so months they’ve operated like any other online retailer. The horror stories of yesteryear aren’t really that common any more

I placed an order 12/26 and got it 12/31. Prior orders would take weeks to ship.
The sale is over, but just wanted to share my experience with anyone considering purchases in the future. I ordered 3 CDs on January 2nd, received an email notifying me that they had shipped on January 4th (tracking info gave an estimated delivery date of January 11th). Received two additional emails with shipping updates, and CDs arrived on the 11th as expected. This was my first purchase from uDiscover Music, and based upon it I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from them again.

Accessories4Less dot com is now showing inventory of 'refurbished' Polk Audio RTi A7 floor-standing loudspeakers in 'Black' with a 2 year Polk warranty for $219 each. They have real wood veneer and a single loudspeaker weighs 55 pounds. Shipping costs for a pair appears to be about $8.99 and only available for the CONUS.

$300

14 used JBL 705P available. They dealt down to $300 + shipping and tax, so a little over $350 for me out the door. Best of luck finding a better price for these amazing speakers used.

Bandhphoto is one of a few Genelec dealers in the USA. They don't go on sale but they are starting to have more inventory of used Genelecs.

The other day I purchased a pair of black Genelec G Three for $980, a ~$400 savings, in 'like new' condition. Still there are some singles and a pair of like new 8020D for $888.

It's a little hard to search for and one has to keep checking for updates, but it can save a bunch.

Here's the link.

Deal is still on. I'm picking this up. Gonna go 5.1 for the first time in 25+ years.

Ditto,

A heck of a deal when one is using one or fewer subwoofers....

Getting a paid Dirac Live license for a similar price on the similar Pioneer Elite VSX-LX505 AVR incentivized me to use some existing loudspeakers to revive a 4.1 configuration.

I perceive greater clarity to the audio playback of all sources connected to the Pioneer when I enable Dirac Live.

I like that the Integra DRX-3.4 has the option of preamplifier outputs. My Kill-A-Watt meter measures my Pioneer '505' AVR as drawing 38 to 42 watts at 120 volts when used strictly as a preamplifier. I wish my Pioneer had the 5-year warranty of the Integra DRX-3.4 !
