Visually, the Westminsters are not my cup of tea, but acoustically I think they are very successful.

Beauty is always in the eye of the beholder and I think a loudspeaker has to match its surroundings.
With the right surroundings, I also find a Tannoy Westminster harmonious.

These loudspeakers also look very good in the right surroundings, but the room has to adapt to them and not the other way around.

Apparently, the cloth fabric is just draped inside the sheet metal horn to reduce some resonance or harshness.

Tannoy you say. I have a weakness for high-gloss mahogany. Mainly on old wooden boats with carvel construction.
