It's the law of audio hardware threads. Most beautiful/ugliest anything threads are convergent series. If allowed to run forever, all existing devices would appear in both lists.

Is that a Conservation law, or just statistical convergence?

I'll go for statistical because I fear you will demolish any (ill-advised) attempt to invoke Noether's theorem in the present context.

Looks like vintage Tannoy. Would be interesting to hear for sure, but I would hope that room isn't as reverberant as it looks.

Now that is a room in which good sound is never going to happen IME.

That's the room where nothing is hooked up. It's just for looks. He's got another room for listening, that's got no windows, is dark and has just one chair in the middle of the room. :)
