i used to own thoes Hawthorne open baffles. worst speakers iv ever had, cardboard mids and earpiercing highs.

For my, I like nice woodwork, curved shapes and pleasant colors. Revel may sound great but I find them downright ugly, I don't know why they can't find a better designer.

With PMC, the dome midrange and ribbed woofers were always a point of interest.

It's the law of audio hardware threads. Most beautiful/ugliest anything threads are convergent series. If allowed to run forever, all existing devices would appear in both lists.
