What were the main differences between the Ones and 8350?
Not much to my ears. There is overall sense of clenliness in the sound, the speakers disappear better, I think I could focus better on small details.

The difference is there but not worth it to me. For somebody else with more money, it's a no-brainer, just get the 8351.

My upgrage obsession ended in 8350s. After a couple of auditions with the Ones I concluded that I'm just never going to pay the difference for the amount of sound quality improvement. I might reconsider if my disposable income increases considerably and I can buy them just for funsies, but otherwise I'm done.

I've been trying to line up the same audition for a while here so I'd say there's every chance I'll end up with 8350 also. I do absolutely love the look of white Ones though...

My OCD would be kicking in on those 1236A’s. I’d turn over the waveguide and flip right one so it mirrored the left.

nope.

edit: ok lol. to be less cheeky with a 1 word answer..
Lower end extension is not an issue for me (the room hits 23Hz). The only reason I would need a sub would be to tame a small room mode and dip from left ceiling boundary reflections. But as for where I would put the sub, I'm not even sure. I'd rather not complicate things with another active ingredient.

With the space and lesser cost, I invested in some treatment; which I'm still planning on padding on.

Kinda pleased with the plant pot holder for the centre speaker. It matches the chair and ottoman legs and other furniture not shown...

Current circumstances necessitate that I sleep in the lounge; the kids have the bedrooms, hence the bed in the living room....

Here is my living room setup, not that sexy but i enjoy the sound.

- distance to the couch is ~16ft
- distance to the lounge chair is 8ft (i move it out to triangle position with speakers)
- single source provided by CA CXN (very interested in upgrading to eversolo dmp a6 for the nicer screen)
- BIC F12 sub in the corner, considering upgrading to a micro subwoofer or dual subs.
- considering adding miniDSP into the chain to help with the room

I highly doubt that the sub in addition to the W371 is needed

Looks a bit like a caravan. Who needs a B&W, B&O or Naim 20 speaker system in the car when you can literally have W371+ 8361 :)
