Fosi vs NCore/Purifi: When would there be an audible difference?

It'not only FR. The output impedance being variable with frequency generates tons of IMD.
Amir’s measurements show pretty good IMD for the Fosi V3, not fantastic, but good enough that audibility is debatable.

Talking of Fosi comparisons with more expensive Class D implementations, talking of PFFB etc…

I have connected a pair of V3 mono to an NAD M10 which has onboard nCore amplification and there is a very noticeable improvement in the listening experience which backs up what the measurements suggest. I have documented this in the M10 thread.

Measurements are a good starting point for identifying performance potential but the listening experience is where the rubber meets the road and takes into account the entire audio chain and listening environment. Plus the M10 has DSP on top. In my case I am satisfied that its better as is my wife who cares only for the music, not the numbers. There's no need for A/B blind testing, the difference is abundantly apparent.

In my case I had considered Eigentacht amplification for the M10. NAD make two amps, VTV also make them. Based on Amir's measurements I went with the Fosi V3 mono and have been satisfied with the results at a fraction of the cost of other options.

That violates one of my principles which is anything new out of the box should not be a DIY project unless it was intended to be from the start. Just because it can be fixed doesn't change the fact that is broken.
Putting a banana plug on a cable constitutes a DIT project?

And what does 'broken' mean in the first place - just that the speaker binding posts aren't capable of accepting your particular speaker cables? If you can't fit a reasonable, say 12 gauge, wire in them I'll take that back though.

It would not take a 12 gauge stranded wire.

Not ideal then.

I've just had notification of posting for my amps today so I'll be able to try myself soon :) However I've got a little STA326 amp here with the tiniest 5 way binding posts I've ever seen and, if it has to stranded wire that is used, I can still get perfectly adequate 12 AWG connections simply by threading as many as possible of the strands through the holes and the remainder twisted around the posts before tightening them. You do have to be very careful of loose strands when doing this though, and bigger posts or bananas are a better solution.
