where you are looking?
I'm not looking anywhere.

By definition, a DAC must output an analog signal.

In a Lightning (digital) to SPDIF/HDMI (also digital) adapter, there is nothing that a DAC could possibly do.

Yes, there are chips inside such adapters that convert from one format to the other. But no DACs.

I was actually looking on amazon lightning to rca left right cable and they seem to have a dac chip or may be its just a decoder as you said

That’s not what @staticV3 is talking about. Left and right RCA implies analog out, so a DAC. He’s talking about a digital coaxial single RCA output. Different thing, same connector.

I don’t know about those, but this exists:

It will give you optical SPDIF, which your AVR will also accept.

But why not just use Airplay? Should work just fine.

Airplay requires a ethernet connection which is currently not possible. Also i found that using rca red and white to lightning the sound distribution to both speakers is better. Its like i am listening using headphones. But i have to do more listening its just a initial evaluation.

It works just fine over Wifi as well.

That is unlikely. It should sound exactly the same. Most likely the differences you perceive are due to different gain levels.
