We had gotten our build times down to 1-2wks for most of this year but a large influx of orders the last 10 days and me needing a couple of days off for the holidays, this extended ETA for new orders seemed prudent.

Is the extra capacitor board to prevent or eliminate pumping?

I may be out of the loop, but I was just about to pull the trigger on a 3 channel 1et400a. Will this get those new binding posts? If the new case and binding posts are part of the reason for the long lead time of the 3 channel NcoreX I may wait for that instead.

All builds except the 8ch NC502MP and the Purifi/NCx Rackmount case have the new changes and binding posts in production as of now.

Is the extra capacitor board to prevent or eliminate pumping?

Yes. The SMPS1k can have pumping if used on full range speakers under 30/40Hz. The Capacitor board eliminates this.

1) Nothing special, just manufactured to specification
2) Absolutely, I touched on this in the NCx thread.
