Thanks to Audiophonics france, Brazales Mecanizados precission CNC company in Madrid , Spain and my friend Javier technician working for gob here in something related with high precission solar energy 24/7 systems, we have done this dual mono, linear power supply free from SMPS high freq dirtiness, Toroidy polish totally silent transformers double transformers 300va single voltaje, finally voltaje was higher than ordered, but its still on range, dual mono 3e PFFB power balanced amp with Naim/Exposure style bananas made in germany 1000v ready and neutrik xlr screw internal conections, all fastons and what we call here "clema" no soldering at all. internal speaker cable from Inakustik made in germany and other are default or normal fire retardtant. It works its silent!! Very clean with ATC acording my best friend Javier. View attachment 351876View attachment 351877

Very, very minor but if your "clemas" are made of steel you may want to change them to something non-ferromagnetic.
Nice,clean work otherwise!

finished amp officially posted, feel free to discuss.

The boards sound pretty amazing. My one complaint is that the gain is really low (19 db) meaning my WiiM Pro Plus could not drive it to full output, even at 2 volts out.

Both. It simply has lower gain that other amps or cards. They need 3 volts in for full output. If you have a preamp than you should be fine.

Good morning guys,
I want to drive a 2Ohm subwoofer with it. Isn`t it enough to have a 36V psu for full power? 36V/2Ohm=18A >>650W.
Of course the impedance rises to Fs, but then the efficiency also rises so less power is needed for a linear frequency response.

how much power of your woofer?
remember supply voltage is 36V but amp output will reduce a little bit so peak power won't be 650W.

Take a look at the data sheet.

Here's the TPA3255's Output Power vs Supply Voltage in PBTL:

36V PSU will limit power to ~260W @2Ω.

Thank you.
That is ok.
The sub makes 107dB/1W so 260W will be about 130dB.
The sub (DBA) "has" 8kw.

The mono amps are rated into 2 ohm loads.

Hi!
I bought two mono modules 480-1-29A.
I started testing it.
Module 1 - turns on at 36 volts.
Module 2 - turns on at 34 volts.

When the power is turned off:
Module 1 - the red LED goes out. At this moment, a barely audible click is heard in the speaker.
Module 2 - The red LED goes out. At this moment, a pop is heard in the speaker.

What could be the reason?

P.S. This happens even when the input cable is disconnected. I swapped the power supplies. The clap when switching off is only on module 2.

What could be the reason?
Just board to board variation - or you have two different versions of the same board.

I'd contact 3e-audio about it, and tell them you want two the same.

They are both from the same batch. Rev.C. Aug 2024.
Most likely unit to unit variation - component tolerances. Though it is possible one is faulty. I'd still contact 3e audio to discuss. I don't think anyone else can give you a definitive answer.
