Looks like Radio Shack is targeting ASR members
That's actually pretty cool. I may buy one.

The new Audio Research Ref-80s
Love the look of the black panel amp.
Bet she looks sexy as hell in a darkened room with the tube glow illuminating the meters.
Bad Ass!

I added more pics but have not been able to find one of it powered up to see the meters.

A Western Electric meter panel. They were common in studios to monitor the various lines carrying audio.

Kool Western Electric logo!
I grew up right down the street from the Hawthorne Works plant in Chicago / Cicero IL
At one time virtually everyone in the neighborhood worked for Western
It was a sad day in the hood when Western closed its doors for the final time.
A good piece of the land was used to build a large shopping mall but they saved the old WE tower and left it standing in the corner of the mall. I'm not sure if it's still there or not.

tbh, not a fan of blue lighting at all

tho, who would have thought, all my stuff shines blue...from the htpc to the vu meters on my amp

I built this simple VU meter panel many years ago to compliment a backlit CD track which was also of my design. The factory installed LEDs were single wavelength orange, so I replaced them with more aesthetically pleasing CRI(e)96 emitters.
