Trinnov Altitude 32 Review

Many thanks Alan !
Reality bites .
Is Datasat AP_25 still sold. Can,t find any dealer in Monteal.
Anothger newbie question : 1. Does NVIDEA SHIELD output Atmos via it,s HDMI ?
2. Since Arvus H2-4D now has digital volume control, could I just connect ( via HDMI) the Shield to the Arvus and then to my digital speakers ?
It would be great if I could ?

Many Thanks Alan,
I read that getting an Atmos license is doable. For about 450.00 ,you get it for one year. After one year, the producer part is gone but the renderer stays, so that your PC can continue to output Atmos in digital. Then ,via HDMI to the Arvus or USB-C to the Oria. Both Arvus and Oria have digital volume control, I think. Then to the digital speakers.
Questions for me ( if the above is right) would be;
1. Does the PC need a program ( apart from the Atmos renderer ) to output the 16 channels in a certain order ?
2. Even better, if the PC could do the ordering of the channels as well as digital volume control, would there be a way via programs/audio-cards etc.. to output as many channels as one wants to an AES switch , then to speakers ? That way, you could do crossovers ( JBL-M2 for example) and have as many channels as y wanted , especially with evolving formats.
3. If there are audio-cards that can out via DB-25 with digital volume, one could even do without the switch depending on the number of channels needed ?

Using a PC for everything would be great as one could modify it as needs evolve. Maybe I am dreaming about what should be instead of living with what is?

ps. Thankfully, I have a friend who is an engineer that would help me with programs as needed.
Being in the Mental Health field, I seriously lack any technical expertise !
I’ve used a Lynx AES16e to output digital and Jriver. Jriver can handle and route the channels. I ripped 4k blu-ray but never had a way to decode atmos. You can do room correction and digital volume control with Jriver.

Wow !
Many Thanks Bulldogger for those encouraging news ,
I use Jriver for my 2 channel listening using Headphone plugged in a Topping DX-7. I have also a server for music/movies.
If I understand well, one could use a Lynx card and output digital signal straight to digital speakers trough AES and use Jriver to control the volume ?
For Dolby decoding there is the option of using a Dolby license paid ounce .It is good for one year as a producer but the decoder remains active after the one year.
In my mind , this makes most sense as it is upgradable and simple ( ounce one gets it set-up ) .
