I have managed to place an order for a pair of these for 510 EUR. I am curious if the retailer will honor this pricing. Really curious about how they sound in a nearfield setup

where did you order from? I'm interested in theseI have managed to place an order for a pair of these for 510 EUR. I am curious if the retailer will honor this pricing. Really curious about how they sound in a nearfield setup
Unfortunately, it's a local retailer in Slovakia and they don't ship abroad, not even to the neighboring countries.where did you order from? I'm interested in these
I see. Congratulations on your new speakers anyway. Hope you like itUnfortunately, it's a local retailer in Slovakia and they don't ship even to the neighboring countries.
R200 are getting more use for me. They sound different. Both are good at low and moderate volume levels. If you're in the U.S. try Crutchfield to demo two pairs you're having a hard time deciding. How does Revel M16 compete with them? And which ones do you like more at low and moderate volume levels?
I think there are some pretty cogent comments on the Polk forums.Does anyone know how the Polk LSIM 703's would hold up to the R200 or even L 200?
Thanks will have a read. I am an owner of the LSIM 703s. On the fence on whether to sell them. I would most likely be getting a pair of R200s, and I can't justify the cost of the legend series. I should probably keep the 703's but im always itching for something new.I think there are some pretty cogent comments on the Polk forums.
Quick perusal only turns up this one (so far), but I am pretty sure there're others.
LSiM vs. Legend...
For those of you who have owned/auditioned/heard/etc. both the LSiM line and the Legend line...forum.polkaudio.com
Do be sure to peruse this thread from an L200 demo program Polk did.

This thread is for the reviews of the members in the demo program. Everyone else try to keep on topic, thanks.forum.polkaudio.com
probably.. the potential differences aren't that great + you'll be giving up the advantages of a 3 way speaker...I should probably keep the 703's

HomeCinéSolutions (France) sell R200 for 550 euro. You need to use "send private pricing" to get the deal.

Hopefully they'll get the hint...US Prices are a total rip off if Polk can afford the import/tariffs, VAT, and retailer margins at those price. I would never consider these anywhere near the $750 US list price, sounds like a reasonable full MSRP should be like $400 - $500/pair to be in line with the margins on other brands/models. They're just gouging here.
Paid ca. $440 for the pair I have on a promotional deal from Polk.
I would say they're very good for that price (and I have said so, in fact).
No, sorry, USD.$440 Canadian? Yea definitely grossly overpriced in the US. Think their main (if not only) US dealers are mainstream "Big Box" stores that only sell at full MSRP save for Polk sanctioned sales, I'm assuming they're price controlled. Ironic given they're an American brand, but I'd definitely avoid these in the US.
I’ve just visited their site and if I’m not mistaken , R200 are listed @ euros399. ?HomeCinéSolutions (France) sell R200 for 550 euro. You need to use "send private pricing" to get the deal.
