Nice turntables. Attached picture is an absolute requirement.

Ironic that the typeface on the above record face screams digital (pixellated)...

Pioneer PL-L800 direct-drive turntable with linear tracking arm mounted with Ortofon SL-20Q MC cart for CD4 replay.

What I currently use: Technics SL-M3 (this picture not mine but from a current eBay seller)
Linear arms rule!

This to me is a nice turntable. Why? because its remains minus arm were gifted to me to play with. I rebuilt the arm pillar and non-captive (in this model) ball races, found a replacement arm and adjusted the fixed bias correction/anti-skate underneath for 2g and less tracking, thoroughly cleaned and serviced the mechanism, utilised a later type plinth and also found and fitted the cast platter from the 1216 model. It's pretty darned good at playing LPs, the arm far better than its place in the range suggests, it's pretty darned quiet too with the better platter on. Works like the precision machine most Duals actually are, even if not as 'charming' as an equivalent Garrard of the era...

The DUAL 1229 ([in a custom plinth] currently in my Mother's system) is what I have as the secondary backup turntable to my TECHNICS SL-M3.

In the past, the DUAL 1229 was commonly known as "The Engineers Turntable" in Germany. It also came in a 1229Q for Quad [CD-4])

it's not shiny, but it's fine.
I hadn't used it for months, but in the new system I'm building I wanted to reuse it, obviously without abandoning streaming.

A vintage 1210, with a 2M Bronze cartridge

Technics SL 1200 which I think is one of the best audio devices ever built and long-lived of all category. It deserves an award.

I decided for an MM because I don't want to bother with additional phono preamps, step-ups, and so on, since my preamp already has a MM Phono input.
Very simple then, preamp, power amp, Dac, and turntable. And, obviously, speakers!!

The location is not the best, in fact, but it is temporary. I still have to set up the room and bring up a rack that contains all the material, soon, soon…

I have one of those in storage. Garage sale item. It works, but I just don’t think it’s real.
It's real all right and even the basic MMC5 pickup it comes with fetches a lot of money.

Here's mine from 1972 - Beogram 3000/SP12. Sounds very good - Apologies for my dire photography skills, I swear it's not the phone's camera as I have pics taken by someone else using this phone which are superb...
