"rich, immersive soundscape that captivates the senses"

I have heard the Clarysis on multiple occasions, though not at the recent Florida show nor the flagship Atrium, and all flowery language aside, they sound very, very good. Though as large panel planars go, I preferred the Diptyque, with Clarysis a very close second.

Contrary to conventional thinking, they can be hung on the walls or placed against the walls. Both woofers' backs are tightly fitted to the back plate. Tweeters are in their own shallow compartments.
Simple as it gets, but at around 17,000 USD!

That could be an inspiration for a wall-hung horizontal pair of speakers. Or, indeed, vertically hung.

Have you heard any of the Popori Acoustics Loudspeakers - custom designed electrostatics?

They’ve been getting lots of great notices from audio shows and seem to be something of a new darling on the scene. They are noted for their frequency response and the ability to actually produce excellent bass.

Unfortunately no! I have also read good things about them. All the benefits of an electrostatic, none of the negatives they say. First time I heard of them was Florida show, where they definitely caused quite the stir.
