Prepare for singles day on Nov 11th! I'd recommend going through Aliexpress and bookmarking the stuff you're interested in for the one day sale. Also if you have a Capital One card and log in through their web site to get there, it's currently another 7 percent cash back for Aliexpress purchases (4% at Adorama too). On eBay the factory sellers there like Topping may also be putting their discounts up. Aoshida has already started posting 11/11 sale prices. Also Apos is really good about price matching if you send them a link or screenshot, they've done it for me in the past on stuff.
The real deals will be six weeks after the holidays when the eBay liquidators start getting big return shipments and they have to sell at no reserve to empty their warehouses before the next one arrives. The big liquidators have to buy at least $50k a month and have their own trucks to get the lowest prices, but those warehouses can only hold so much at one time. It's in mid January though before that happens.
Black Friday has become so diluted with everyone jumping the gun early on everyone else, kind of mayhemic now. The 11/11 Singles Day is huge in China. Going to keep my eye on Aliexpress and also the authorized dealers like Apos to see if they do it too. One cool tip for seeing who had Black Friday or 11/11 sales is the Wayback Machine which could tell you if say, Hart Cables had a sale last Black Friday or not. Just look their domain up on it, then pick the day to see the snapshot for it.
