Not a current sale but Neumann KH 80 DSP was on sale at A….N through either Vintage King or Pro Audio Star (I think) for $414 each. I’d suggest setting up a camelcamelcamel alert if you’re in the market.

...tempting
Just make sure you take a tape measure and look at your space. I just got the monolith 13 for $1211, and it's a friggin monster truck compared to my miniature svs sb2000pro. I'm slightly regretting the purchase just due to it's size, but I need to do some "reference level" testing when the wife and kids are away.

I bought the 10 in version a year ago and was shocked how big and heavy it was. In sure this one is much larger.

I'd be a little wary of refurbished headphones, I read about one guy that got through 2 units of refurbed HD560s and he said they both had bad channel matching. I suspect people send headphones back to the manufacturer within the return window for a variety of reasons, and being unhappy with the experience is likely the most often reason for the return....poor channel matching in the returned unit could be one of those reasons, so perhaps there's an increased likelihood of getting a poor unit if you opt to buy a refurbished unit.

I do recommend buying a new HD560s though, lol!

Point taken. It seems to be getting to the place where the 560S is on sale at Amazon for $150 as often as it's not on sale, but this is $50 less with a 2-year warranty and 30-day free return.

I mean it's good that you've posted it, but it might not be worth the risk unless you have a way of measuring the channel balance.

6Ave has the Beyerdynamic DT770 250 ohm for $112 with free shipping (open box)
I just bought one and they have 4 left currently. I buy those nearly new, because the pads are $38 to replace so it's worth it. I just checked order status and they send it Fedex 2 day.
