Is the consensus of the group that avr's cannot be configured to output acceptable 2 channel?

Going to test Adcom 555 on preouts...

I still want to use HSU VTF15 sub though..

Generally AVR's suck for hifi stereo sound. This forum is about numbers, which is fine.

However a good quality stereo integrated amp will sound better than the similar priced AVR.
