I just learnt that, unsurprisingly, Dieter Rams influenced Apple's design.

A pity that they let this brand disappear.

The Living Voice gear is super cool. No idea if it sounds good, but I can't really get onboard with the $500k+ price tag

I preferred the styling of the DMC-20 which also has rotary volume control (I hate up/down buttons with an intense loathing )

Pre-pandemic (Nov 2019 I think) I was in London for work and was on a podcast recorded in a small booth studio in back of a coffee house in the King's Cross neighborhood ... the cafe area had a huge vinyl system featuring Living Voice horns, and they sounded totally wonderful. I could have stayed all day. A very surprising find.

I think Braun designed stuff is horrendous looking. But, beauty is a personal thing. Obviously I’m in the small minority since so many seem to like his stuff.
