Just dripping with all the obscure but impressive-sounding "sciency" woo-woo and "this will dramatically lower your noise floor, increase musicality, tighten and increase bass impact" that the writer just knows to be cat-nip to gullible audiophiles.

The types of claims his company makes about their products are, sadly, very common in the industry, as we all know - but I looked at his FB page and he’s way beyond snake oil. Based on his online persona, he seems like a truly dreadful person.

Now and then you'll see a thread along the lines of, "Why are people so angry at audio snake oil vendors?" Maybe some people think these vendors believe their own BS? In some cases, the malevolence of snake oil vendors is naively underestimated. There could be a silver lining in Gene's editorial, where people can now bookmark it and say, "This is why."
