As a non-native it takes a while to get used to all the farts in Denmark*. But the novelty wears off after a while - or you just get used to the smell ...
*) As I'm sure you're aware fart means motion, travel or speed in danish depending on context.

Yes I know. I lived in Copenhagen for 5 years, I do have some basic Danish vocabulary ( although I can never pronounce properly). And I know its not original, but just watched this old QI episode in which Sandi Toksvig talks about fart and bagslag recently and I could not help myself. I apologize.

Bonjour ancien Nantais, I'm sometimes pass through Saint Nazaire on my way to "La Baule", but I don't stop !Lived there 13 years ago (Pirmil, also a few years in the horrid town of St Nazaire before that). I went back to Île de France in 2010.

I have read that the estimated number of English speakers (as first or second language) is more around 1.4 billion. Maybe it just depends on how we ask the question. But it’s certainly higher than 380 million on your link list.List of languages by number of native speakers - Wikipedia

Just North of Downtown Los Angeles, right below the Angeles National Forest. The first photo is an old mental asylum. Which gave birth to name suicide bridge, last photo, where patients would escape and unalive themselves on the bridge. The bridge is located a minute away if you ran it.

Because native speakers ≠ speakers.
Otherwise, French is also way more spoken than by just "80M" people.
