Neumann have these internal "ducts", that I assume are tuned for a specific frequency and to minimize any port "chuffing".
Some of items from early production have aesthetic value besides of outstanding technical qualities and can still be seen at Museum of Modern Art, NYC.
(unsure about name, sound etc..I mainly see stuff on the market)

Westlake HR-1. These are old studio monitors from the 1970's, they are still sold but cost a lot (60K) for a very oldskool sound (that is not that neutral i think from hearing them years ago). But they look very good I think.
