Ethernet input, coaxial output?
What is the max output resolution?
Is the USB-C input only for power?
Thanks

You can buy more than one hot spot for your own house.
That sounds even more inconvenient and expensive than either my crawling or ladder solutions.

Or is your point that I should already have a more complicated network with convenient RJ45 spigots because devices with configuration protocols like ARSY Ne-2 exist?

I'm an engineer from ARSY. English is not my native language. Ne-2 does not support DSD decoding and needs to be converted to PCM

Then you should change this statement on the website:

"Equipped CS43198 DAC - The latest generation CS43198 DAC supports up to 32-bit/384 kHz PCM and DSD256 (Direct Stream Digital) audio formats, providing exceptional audio clarity. "

It is misleading if the device does not support DSD streaming.

Well, I have a more complicated mesh network for its own reason -- to improve WiFi signal around the house and property.

That's why most people run WiFi hotspots.

For example, without the hotspot in my living room, my car's WiFi signal isn't so great, and without that, it can't download over-the-air firmware updates.

The benefit to a streamer directly connecting to a hot spot is just a side effect of a bigger network.

Kudos on a great device. Is adding support for Google Cast on your roadmap?

Why does Ne-2 NOT support UPNP with MacBook Pro? Only Airplay. Audirvana provides a UPNP interface on Mac and the Ne-2 is not detected, while the UPNP interface of Denon AVR, Wiim mini and RPi4/Moode UPNP all work fine with Adirvana on MacBook Pro. Is it possible the Ne-2 is NOT designed to support UPNP on Apple products?
I will test this week and reply to you as soon as possible

I understand why people have more complex networks than mine. But I don't think getting a more complex network in order to do a one-time setup of this device is all that persuasive.

Okay, but if you already have one, it's not like adding the Arsy is some big hard feat requiring amazing skills.

You literally just plug it in.

And wifi mesh networks at home are incredibly common.

It's not a huge deal for me as I have only about 50 or so DSD albums (vs. thousands of PCM recordings) but I have to say that is disappointing and quite misleading!

Less complexity in the firmware, less chance of bugs/crashes/bricking.
I still don't see any advantage to this over a RP4 or a Wiim, both which have run for years without issue. Not having any kind of user interface seems like a hinderance than an advantage especially when something goes awry. I am slowly moving away from Chromecast audio after the blackout and looking for alternatives but this doesn't seem like a good solution for my needs.

This is yet another example of ASR's value in the marketplace - providing Beta testing feedback and marketing info content and fact checking for a Vendor's new or current products!!
