All About UFO's

He used to be a well-respected theoretical physicist when he was in his 50s but he's 85 now...
I would like to see that paper to which he referred in the video. I did a quick Google search and did not find it.

If anyone has a link, please post.

Well, at least the roast at the end was funny

Do we all know who (and what) Uri Geller is? I don't know about yours, but my spoons are straight.

Jim
He is an illusionist/magician who claimed he also had psychic ability. My understanding is that Stanford University conducted some experiments with him as a subject. The CIA found the results interesting and contracted him into the STARGATE program.

A fraud, plain and simple.
Some people claim the entire STARGATE program was a fraud. The DIA didn't seem to think so, and was very interested in the paranormal phenomenon. There are skeptics and proponents.

I have read some scientific papers generated by the Institute of Noetic Sciences, with which astronaut Dr. Edgar Mitchell was deeply involved (he started it I think), pertaining to experiments performed on paranormal abilities. I don't think those experiments will change the mind of anybody with deep rooted beliefs. But, if viewed from an unbiased scientific perspective, they are interesting.

Videos cannot be faked.
Oh, yeah. I forgot!

EDIT: Just looking over this page... If I get bored enough, I am going to calculate the density of Wikipedia citations per post in this thread. I think it may be quite an interesting indicator of the depth and quality of the data underlying many of the... ahh... claims. EDIT: Oh, and Youtube video, too. They're unassailable and peer reviewed, right?
;)

Oh, yes, and Uri Geller. Wikipedia citation notwithstanding ;) -- yes, a total fraud, well established long ago.

PS Re: Merv Griffin: Merv Griffin - besides his talk show - created Jeopardy. :) I feel like I owe this group a non Wiki-p citation!

Aliens, if you are listening, please reveal yourself and share your knowledge ;)

Uri Geller is not just a fraud, but pretty famous for being a fraud. I'm thinking this Sarfatti guy's word might not constitute ironclad proof of anything.

I haven't seen any ironclad information on this subject. If it exists and were to be made publicly available, the discussion would be over.

Moreover, there are people (both apparently credible and apparently not credible) giving opposing information. They cannot all be correct.

Elon Musk provided interesting insight in a recent interview. Basically, he stated that he has not seen any evidence of UAPs, and with all of the space missions with which he has been involved (I presume he means both classified and unclassified), if they are real he would have seen evidence. This is another data point.

Also, a video of what appears to be a navy A-12 (supposedly canceled over 3 decades ago) is floating around the Internet. If it is an A-12, or perhaps a more modern version of that aircraft, it could explain some of the sightings of triangular shaped craft that people think are UAPs. This is another data point.

That's the aircraft to which I was referring. I saw somewhere where that photo was compared to the A-12. That is what it looks like. But, the A-12 supposedly was canceled back in 1991 before it ever made it to production. Perhaps that was just an ruse to turn it into a black program, or perhaps it has since been revived as a black program.

Assuming it’s an unaltered photo, it’s something military. There are precedents for military aircraft not being announced.
