For the DAC, there is not really any way to interface anything other than USB right?
I Can give you the pinout for the 40 pin connector and you can connect I2S to it instead of I2S from the Pi.

I see I really meant traditional s/pdif coaxical or optical, but a HDMI I2S input would be a cool feature too if there is any revision consideration in the future. I think the guys from Allo are also working on a multi-output non-Pi DAC. Not holding my breath thoughI Can give you the pinout for the 40 pin connector and you can connect I2S to it instead of I2S from the Pi.
In the future there will be PecanPi USB.USB is surely the most important connection anyway.
Here is a write up of Katana with isolator and two linear power supplies total cost of ~$700.
The comparison is made to my company's PecanPi DAC which is currently $225 with power supply included.

But what is the audible noise he refers to?
Besides that unit close to 20 people have tried this product, no body else reporting this kind of issue.
4 people in total have tried that unit about to be 5.20 people in total have used that same particular unit for demo?
Or there have been multiple units in circulation for demo?
I send you a PM.After weeks of searching, this looks interesting. Wanted to get a pi based streamer for my stereo. Numbers look good.
Too bad i missed the pre order price.
While it was released, it is currently out of stock and cannot be purchased.Any chance the Pecan Pi will ship with the new Raspberry Pi 4? If so, will there be a cost change?
If you are in the NJ area stop by and check out both the PecanPi DAC and BOSC Amp at a demo on July 6th.
