As vinyl seems to be a matter of ongoing interest, I’d like to see some examples of turntables to be reviewed here. Like some Pro-Ject Debut player, any not too expensive Technics and maybe the Denon DP-3000NE.

That is indeed the question. I know @amirm has played around with the idea, but the setup and learning curve certainly seems daunting.
Given that TT's aren't really his 'thing' I can't blame him for that, but it would be interesting to see how it could be approached in a repeatable and useful way.
It would likely cause some of our existing members to blow some gaskets, but could bring in a whole new market segment.
Personally, I'd love to see it, but not holding my breath.
Easy to say, but considering the time and expense likely involved, it's a bit harder to find people willing to do this sort of testing pro bono that you seem to think.
I'd like to see some testing on the audio from Google TV vs Roku vs Apple TV, etc. What is the signal like before it hits the DAC (or, God forbid, the soundbar)?
