Just got home from the local IMAX and viewed Rogue One.
In a word, Awesome.
It was everything I go to cinema to see in Sci Fi - Outer Space genre.
A video-audio roller coaster ride that once again puts LucasFilm at the forefront of great special effects productions. A very worthy addition to the Star Wars saga.
I didn't read a thing before going in so as not to be influenced in any way. I have no idea what anyone else is saying, and don't care. :p I loved it.
Don't miss an opportunity to see it on the big screen, IMAX 3D if possible while it's still out there.

some people hate it
I could tell you why some hate it, they shouldn't, but understandable.
I won't be a spoiler and reveal the reason.

Just finished seeing it. I thought the first half was too long and not engaging enough. The second half was excellent.

I was shocked how they ended it. They developed a bunch of likeable characters that could have made for better sequels than the main series. Shocking to see it as a one-off movie coming from a company like Disney.

As an aside, the picture quality was rather poor at the theater we went at. Poor contrast, not sharp enough. We saw it in 2D.

Music though and sound quality overall was very good.

That's a bummer. Don't you have a IMAX in the area? I don't give a rodents behind about 3D, but the IMAX video and sound presentations have always been awesome IME

Think I'm going to see Passenger tomorrow, too bad R1 has had the IMAX monopolized for the full run. :(

Have you seen "Arrival"?

I love Star Wars, and have seen them all, plus the animated series. I even have Star Wars pajamas.

But I also love "serious" science fiction, and "Arrival" is one of the better serious sci fi movies I've seen recently.

Zero relative to c?

The speed of light is the same to all observers in all directions irregardless of the relative position or motion of the observers.

However, the velocities we might achieve relative to each other will dilate the time we observe, which is probably what you were trying to infer.

Where in the universe are we?

We are each at the center of our own individually observable universe.

Well, I don't know about you, but I use the CMB as my standard reference frame, as do most astrophysicists.

In which case we're moving at 0.2% C.
