Congratulations, Jim. It's about time we get a new moderator, given that we have seen less of @BDWoody given what has been happening. I sincerely hope he is doing well. I blame the ASR community for giving BDWoody a heart attack. Let's look after the remaining moderators and try not to kill them off too quickly, shall we?
Welcome to a rather thankless task! ‘Moderation’ contains the word “moderate” (sort-of) which means, essentially, to not let the verbal pot boil over .

I am doing great, thank you for the kind thoughts.
I certainly can't blame ASR for my health issues, but the task that Adam faced after I was knocked back a step was huge. Trying to manage this place on your own is quite daunting, and while we have both 'covered' for each other in the normal ebb and flow of life, as we got bigger and bigger that was going to become less and less tenable.
We are both very relieved to have gotten Jim to sign up for this job of service, and are very confident that his history in the forum as a respected member will serve him well as he takes on this new challenge, and the fact that he is active in the early morning hours is a huge bonus. Knowing that Adam is going to be able to take a deep breath once in a while when I am out of pocket, or vice versa (although that almost never happens to be honest...Adam is just a workhorse) is worth more than I can say.
Thanks to Jimbo for signing up for this, and to Adam for everything up to and including the recruiting effort. This is a special place, and we do our best to keep it that way. As we grow, adding like minded people to the moderation team will be part of the deal, so we hope the membership can help him not to feel like he made the biggest mistake of his life!
We make it up as we go. It's easier that way.
