Hello ,

I'd like to take this opportunity to personally thank Brad . As some of you may know Brad took over from me . After being about from and contributing to the inception of ASR I'd had my fill and stopped being a mod and Brad said yes ( a lesson for you all , just say no ! ) Barbra knew best !

What you don't know is how easy Brad made that for me , we didn't really have much hand over but in his own brilliant way Brad enabled me to not just step away , something at the time I was desperately in need of, but also inabled me to keep away .

He did this by expertly taking on the task of moderator/ manager but did so with such elegance, fun , perspective and respect ., all together meaning i was relived of the guilt my departure might have installed in me .

In the truest form of the word Brad relived me.

He's a brilliant guy imo , has done a incredible job presiding over ASR for these last few years while the forum expanded . A forum that's not his , not mine but one I know we both dedicated ourselves to , him likely having a better life balance than me in his tenure. My hats off to you !

Adam , not many will know but the job of being Mod here was made more of a pain by the haphazard way the forum software was being used and taught. Adam has a lasting legacy of making those systems better , taking huge stress and unnecessary mundane functionality away . Something that will last forever, beyond my little contribution for sure.

Jim , knowing Jim as a member for some time it was a pleasure to spend a period moderating with him recently. Jim's picked up the slack and really been imo the main influence on ASR for the last year. He's instincts and dedication were a breath of fresh air to me , in his departure I'm particularly sad , you all as a community have lost his freshness and learned skills .

Lastly , and yes your last ! Amirm , he's on the record for blowing sunshine up my arse so let me reciprocate.

Amirm, a life's journey that's truly inspirational, a beautiful story of family, the American dream and equal opportunities, not equal outcomes.. coming as I do from a middle class but broken family background Amirm inspired me with his sense of family and generosity. So much so I actually made fundamental changes to my own life and how I helped others . Armim you are a right pain in the arse and stubborn to a maddening degree but look at the fruits not the vine !

We all should look at the fruits , the vine gets cut back , new growth comes but the value is in the age , that's heritage and it's what , Brad , Adam , Jim and Amirm have enabled .

Who would of thought that in 2015 ,, as Rorys caddie told him walking into the play off for the Masters when really he should of not only had a green jacket on the 18th but had one years previously.., if at the start I told you we were here , we'd take that !

So let's take the positive, the forums a huge win for us all . Let's take the win .

A massive thank you from me , to all of the above and all of the members colliding into each other, let's not get the higs boson blues , let's keep on colliding.
