Can you post the proposed preamplifier's schematic/circuit diagram ?

The majority perhaps.
However...

There are quite a few here who enjoy tubes. Many, as well as transparency and highest fidelity.
I suspect that the majority of whom remain quiet/anonymous, primarily due to the very vocal, (and somewhat bigoted) views expressed by some folks here.

A lot of whom, I suspect have never even heard a decent tube amplifier.

If you are not interested or are particularly anti-tube, no need to read or follow this thread.
You misunderstood my answer, I myself dabble with small, cheap tube amps or preamps. Often on this site, especially when it comes to cheap and supposedly poorly-measured devices, the response is lukewarm at best.
This site is not the ideal target for this type of product, regardless of my personal interest.

Apologies. My mistake.
Post deleted.

Which tube will you be using? 6j1/5654 and compatible with Chinese 6j5/6ah6?
Or use a less common tube?
I find a lot of small tube preamps in this category don't provide enough inputs.
Perhaps BT, and a few inputs.
Design it to measure well?

Please can you post a link for those who don't do Facebook?

Thanks.

In the UK and now Croft products are no more, maybe something like this might appeal (although the Schiit models have a head start whenever they're available).

WHY THE HECK do you have a rinky-dinky box with a couple of potentially dangerous glass bottles sticking straight out of the top? Wouldn't it be better to place them laterally inside where they stand a chance of being protected? I went past the 'glowing-bottle-on-show' thang fifty years ago and think this kind of product is pointless franly (digital display as well to put even more confusion in  )

Sincere apologies, I'm obviously not the market for such a product. The Fosi option is where I'd be for a miniature active preamp box and it's cheap too...

How have you reasoned regarding the technical design, goals? I mean it is possible to design tube pre amps completely linear with inaudible levels of noise and distortion. That is if you want to and have the technical knowledge (which I assume you do).
Or you design a tube pre amp in some other way, perhaps with the purpose and goal of trying to add audible distortion.
That is what I am curious about, how you reasoned. :)

In addition to that, I think the tubes should be clearly visible. The visual aspect of tube gear should not be underestimated. Good luck with this tube amp project.:)

Nope, I disagree because what is the purpose of tube amps if you can't see the tubes?

A compromise maybe, that is, some kind of small protective grille around the tubes?:)

And there you have it :D A stereo chip and a handful of passives around it will do just fine, thanks...

I'm a bloody kill-joy ain't I? I'll crawl back under my stone now :D

But you have a valid point about the tubes as potential risks. :)

Incidentally, I think that every commercial tube amp should offer grilles around the tube for their tube amp. Maybe with the ability to pop in and out of the tube grilles. Or if it's called a tube cage maybe? Like these:
