NEUMANN KH750+KH120 II+MA1 DSP NETWORK ISSUE

Hi!!!

I need some help

I’m trying to set up my new KH120s + KH750 and MA1
I’m on Mac
the Neumann control app detected the devices, but from my understanding I need to use the MA1 alignment for calibration. So I launch the MA1 alignment software and the devices are not detected at all.

I connected the speakers to my router via Ethernet cables through a switch.

I tried to reset the speakers.

Please help I don’t know what else to do.

You need to do Mac->Switch->Speakers. A local network.

I tried going out of my MacBook via Ethernet (LAN out of my MacBook Pro dock station) into a switch into the speakers. The new connection shows up in Mac’s Network preferences as UBS/LAN connection, then I select that in the MA1 setup (instead of wireless lan or Ethernet en4/en5en6) but the MA1 freezes and have to force quit it!!!

I'd try a simple USB->RJ45 adapter, instead of a full dock station.

They're inexpensive, and you'd only have to use it once for calibration.
Afterwards you can go back to the dock.

Ok ordered one adapter usb type c to Ethernet like you said.

I will connect the switch to the adapter then the 3 speakers to the switch.

What connection would you select in the MA1 then?

Depends on what pops up with the adapter connected.
