Interesting. The sale this winter was about the same prices but applied to all the finishes. At the time I heard it was because Revel had over-purchased housings. I wonder what is the reason this time.
Purchases made using certain AmericanExpress cards provide a *90-day BuyerAssurance plan; as well as *doubling the manufacturer's warranty, for up to an additional year.
I've only had a few valid occasions when I got use out of these two features of the AX Green cards, in nearly five decades.
I have a sneaky suspicion of a collusion between my hardware and AX; because my electronics never die, even during these 'extended' warranty periods that are free.
