Phillips SHP9500 for $49 from Phototech on Amazon. I've ordered these and they're like new, but the box usually has a dent.

SMSL SA300 Amplfier $98 used from Amazon via Warehouse

Sony STRDH190 2-ch Home Stereo Receiver with Phono Inputs & Bluetooth Black $147 used

Topping D10s $92 used

SMSL M200 DAC $201 used

Topping L30 II $116 used from Hificollege. I've bought a lot from them and their used stuff always works.

There's another on for $119 from Aoshida HiFi-US which I would recommend avoiding. They sent me five amplifiers and DACs in protection mode in a row last year. I just got a DX5 a few days ago from them, since their customer service rep said they'd look into it and fix the problem/person shipping untested returns. They didn't change a thing (it was completely defective) so I'd recommend only buying new, not used from them. They take 3-4 weeks to ship used stuff, and I'm not chancing it ever again at that place on Amazon for used products. Apparently they're a big distributor, but the returns department I know doesn't even turn things on to see if it's protection mode, before boxing it and selling it again used on Amazon.

Some Woot specials this time, after hearing the first one (it sold in a day so I didn't have much time to test it) I think these are good value for the money if you need something for a spare room or garage to have sound. We have a townhouse with neighbors on both sides, so i can't test for speakers very often The PDA4BU.5 I had sounded good enough on the headphone jack to try their next higher up one. Woot is owned by Amazon, so their payment goes through them, and the usual free shipping too.

$32.99 Model PDA4BU.5 Pyle 200W Wireless Bluetooth Home Stereo Amplifier
I bought one of these to check it out, it plays FLAC files on the USB port with a thumbdrive, and the DT880 250 ohm was as loud as I would go at 60 percent volume. It sounded good too. The optical in worked well from the computer, but a lot of real estate on the desktop to use just for headphones.

$64.99 Model PD1000BA.5 Pyle 4-Channel Wireless Bluetooth Power Amplifier - 1000W
Might get one of these next since it has a headphone amp and looks nicer.

$79 Model PT588AB Pyle Wireless Bluetooth Power Amplifier System - 420W 5.1 Channel
No headphone out so I probably won't be testing one of these. Very nice design though.

$134.99 Model PT796BT Pyle 7.1-Channel Hi-Fi Bluetooth Stereo Amplifier - 2000 Watt
Another I might try since it has the headphone out (not a speaker guy but it would be nice to have the option).
For the price of a Soundblaster G6 I'll probably risk it...

$189 Energy by Klipsch 5.1 Classic Home Theater Speaker System

$185 Harman Kardon Aura Studio 3

Spring deals are also available on the Aoshida and Shenzhen Amazon stores.

Camel Camel shows the Topping A90D and A90Pre at “Best Price”, meaning that this is the lowest these items have been listed for. I believe that the 15% discount for these items is valid until March26.

Edit: deal validity dates changed.

The E70v is 16% off. Which is probably 1% more than usual xD

In Asia retailers, the price even lower than in US. China now trade direct to destination currency, without using USD anymore. We’ll see the biggest currency disconnect in history.

Yea I hope most people also know from shenzhen you get it without tax, which for me is 10%.

I use Apos for affirm when I don’t want to dish out cash, affrim is pay over time in case you didn’t know.

Both offer the two year warranty outside of the manufacturer

Revel Concerta2 and JBL HDI speaker lines are on sale in the USA for 30% off.

For example, Crutchfield has the F36, 3-way floorstander, list $1100 on sale at $770.

Revel starter surround system 5.0 = 2 x F36 @ $1540; 2 x M16 @ $694; C25 @ $578 = $2812, ~$1700 less than an SVS system with their floorstanders!
=> or, no floorstanders => 4 x M16 + C25 = $1966, ~$1300 cheaper than an SVS all-standmounts system!

The HDI-3800 2.5 way floorstander, regular $2750 on sale at $1925. A step-up, a price and performance equivalent to the Revel Performa2 line. High quality, good reviews.

In EU: good luck trying to import anything without paying taxes. (at least in the 3 countries i have lived in the past few years). And since a couple of years ago, no exceptions, you pay from 1 euro on.

Are there cases when it is still worth buying directly from Asia giving up 2 years mandatory warranty to save a few euros? Probably, but not so many. In my book, only very cheap stuff.
