No problem. Rules are rules. I keep an Amazon Smile link on my desktop so if I'm "just looking" and end up buying something, I don't have to remember to go through Amazon Smile. I'm not going to petition you to exempt Amazon Smile from the prohibition on affiliate links, because it's not that big a deal. But I do feel I have to echo gorb and emphasize that no one would be contributing anything to anybody by purchasing though an Amazon Smile link unless they've signed up for Amazon Smile.
I installed the chrome add on that automatically directs me to amazon smile every time I go. That way I never forget about it. On the phone app, there is also a way to make sure every purchase goes through amazon smile.

If you aren't using amazon smile, it is a good thing. Doesn't cost you any extra, just part of what you spend now goes to a charity of your choosing.

I didn't know about that. Thanks.

Thing is? I did not order the model above. I ordered these to try out. It said it had an aluminum cone.

But this model came:
1647746988027.png

Subwoofer features:

  • 10” Subwoofer
  • Black polypropylene cone
  • Black rubber surround
  • 2” Voice coil
Enclosure Features:

  • Durable carpeted enclosure with reinforced construction
  • Vented enclosure for greater output and deeper bass
Specifications:

  • Maximum output power: 500 Watts
  • RMS power output: 175 Watts
  • Sensitivity: 88dB
  • Frequency response: 25-500Hz -(Doubt.jpg)
  • Nominal impedance: 4 Ohms
  • Depth (standing): 7.87” Depth (laying down): 12.6”
  • Height (standing): 12.6” Height (laying down): 7.87”
  • Width (standing): 16.54” Width (laying down): 16.54

I can't even buy the wood this cheap. Let alone the driver by itself.
Fit, finish & Aesthetics of the box perfect. I had trouble finding this with prefab boxes at Best Buy where the carpet was always torn on the edges. Not with these. The Dual's really are built solid.

Output from my brief test was sublime. you're going to need a lot more than 175 watts.
I'd recommend buying them in pairs Its like these were made for the 12dB bass boost switch.

Passenger footwell gave the best results so far.

like the Monoprice Under seat Home theater 10 inch, I think this would work well in that application. Albeit, BYO Rockwood Amp amir reviewed a while ago.

The fact this is for less then 102 bucks a pair shipped to your door? With the 20% cupon right now? KILLER DEAL!

You can't even buy an empty box for this much.

I just want to say in my experience and audio quality or volume wise; cant say which one it is precisely.

The monolith 8k/60 hdmi cable is definitely doing something to make it either sound better, or for certain louder. Not sure what is happening precisely, but I have experienced this now with 4 components. 2 AVR's and 2 Sound bars.

The 8k cable delivers 8k video, or 120hz 4k. That's all it does. No improvement on sound unless the other cables are broken.

I think its all in your head. HDMI cables can have jitter, which can cause small screen artifacts like rectangle lines or very small dots. In terms of sound, it works or doesn't.

I bought 2 of the 5 pack "Select Series" above and I like them better then my more expensive Monoprice "Certified Premium" cables. The "Select Series" cables are thicker but actually bend more. The "Certified Premium" cables do not like to bend at all, so most of them broke on me. I had so many of them is because Amazon accidentally sent me 10 of them instead of 1.

Don't kill me here. But at the showrooms? Where they put 4k and 8k content on display from a splitter at the stores from models such as LG, and Samsung, the cable "Might be" Monoprice cable. And often in lengths of 12 feet or more. Same thing at most Target Stores, and other retailers.

Mind you, there are often 12 or more outputs on a repeater, and they all seem to work flawlessly and are specified by Samsung, LG, and others.

Some others I have installed:

I have put 120hz 4k through a 18Gbps cable. It was a bit flaky, though. Generally, they work or they don't.

Beyerdynamic package from Newegg:
  1. DT770 32 ohm (worth like 125 - 170? closer to 135 to 140)
  2. Some mic(dunno worth)
  3. Some software(dunno worth)
$59.90 USD

EDIT BEGIN
OR

for 10 bucks cheaper with no mic or software - just the cans
EDIT END

Point #1 in the package is worth it alone, hopefully some new audiophiles get a taste of the jump to a more fun/serious can :) It was addicting for me with these cans - a different experience. Either/Both are slam dunk deals IMO (please do @ me if you somehow regret getting these so I am more timid in posting here - dunno what vendor shenanigans go on, so it may be educational for me).

Disclaimer: I get nothing from the link nor any kind of kickback - it is just an unbelievable deal.
Also Disclaimer -- I just caught it ships from China. This means nothing from/to me, but some folks may get pissed if I don't mention it. Newegg backs their listings and that is fine enough by me.

Take Care of Yourselves. Take Care of Others if You Can.
