Hey, I have some pretty good headphones and iems but the only speaker i own is an Ultimate ears hyperboom which battery dosent even last that long. So i wanna finally buy some good sounding speakers.

Info:
I live in a pretty small apartment around 40m2. And my couch is around 3-5 meters from my tv.
I prefer Harman tuned headphones but with a bit more bass. I would like it to be able to connect to my tv or my phone using 3.5 mm jack, and i am maybe going to be a wifi streamer to play wireleessly someday.
My max budget is around $1500 with a subwoofer and amp if the speakers need it.

It has to be available in Denmark or be shipped to my country.

Ultimate ears hyperboom:

Looks large, i bet it can make some ruckus:

Here is something to think about:
  • Kef R3 speakers for 1050€, these are beyond doubt, they are worth their money, look stunning and measure good.
  • A used Yamaha A-S501 or A-S701 for 350€. It has two digital inputs, one for your TV, one for a Fiio BTA30.
  • Fiio BTA30 bluetooth receiver/sender for 130€. It supports aptx and LDAC and has digital outputs.
1050 + 350 + 130 = 1530€
More money can be saved by getting the Kef R3 used.

You probably will be fine with the amount of bass you get, but in case you aren't, get a subwoofer later, like a SVS SB-1000 (500€), the Yamaha has a subwoofer output.
A streamer could be a Wiim Mini for 80€.

Check out hifishark too, luckily shipping within EU is not that pricey.

In that case you likely want a subwoofer, the speakers are basically Kef LS50.
Not sure how it would be connected, do the LSX have sub or pre-amp out?
