hello! dear forum members, tell me, please, which one is better to choose an amplifier for acoustics Fosi za3 or aiyima a70? I am sincerely grateful in advance for your help :)
I should start by saying that acoustically it would be extremely difficult to tell them apart. Technically this Aiyima is better.

If we restricted the question to using RCA input, would your assessment be the same?

No, the a70 RCA input is quite a bit worse than the XLR. I don’t know why it would be that much worse. For RCA input I personally use a Fosi v3 with 48 volt supply, which should be cheaper? It sounds fine, like all amps should.

Do you mean the Fosi V3 mono or stereo?

Are you saying the Fosi v3 stereo is better sounding than the Aiyima A70 with RCA input? Or indistinguishable, so why spend more? Would there be an advantage to the ZA3 using RCA inputs over the V3 stereo?

RCA,ASINAD 3dB lower than XLR input, this had been improve in production version.

Since then, has there possibly been a performance measurement for 4 and 8 Ohms with the stick 48V/5A psu?

Could a technically competent person who has examined the panel tell you whether the A70 output filter inductances are of fair quality or should be replaced? Thank you

If one uses two of these for bi-amping (via rca splitters), would that mean delivering twice the power?

In the case of the biamp, of course. But it is not worth using a biamp at a level below a 3-way speaker. (for example, one path to only one tweeter).

Well in this case the reason is rather financial ( I mean, it would be for Polk R700 towers which dip below 4Ω)
Getting 2 Aiyimas is way cheaper than getting a hypex

I think it will be a pretty perfect solution for them.

Two of the ZA3 running in mono or one A70?
Not really concerned about the power ratings. Wondering which one would sound "better". Anyone had the chance to compare them in this configuration?
Thanks

The 5A is the same, but with two channels of simultaneous output and a maximum power of 180 W x 2. The inductor is of excellent quality and does not need to be replaced.

What about the 10A GaN?
GaN doesn't do anything for audio quality or performance. Its benefits are about size and power losses in the PSU itself.

48V/5A you will get like this, when both channel driver power rising till trigger OCP which is around 8.5A,but the 48/10A won't as its OCP is double higher.
