Thank you very much for your help. So it's decided, I'll buy aiyima a70I should start by saying that acoustically it would be extremely difficult to tell them apart. Technically this Aiyima is better.

If we restricted the question to using RCA input, would your assessment be the same?I should start by saying that acoustically it would be extremely difficult to tell them apart. Technically this Aiyima is better.
No, the a70 RCA input is quite a bit worse than the XLR. I don’t know why it would be that much worse. For RCA input I personally use a Fosi v3 with 48 volt supply, which should be cheaper? It sounds fine, like all amps should. If we restricted the question to using RCA input, would your assessment be the same?
Do you mean the Fosi V3 mono or stereo? No, the a70 RCA input is quite a bit worse than the XLR. I don’t know why it would be that much worse. For RCA input I personally use a Fosi v3 with 48 volt supply, which should be cheaper? It sounds fine, like all amps should.
I am using the v3 stereo. I would like to reitetate that choosing among amps with >80 dB SINAD for sound quality is going to be difficult or impossible to distinguish.Do you mean the Fosi V3 mono or stereo?
Are you saying the Fosi v3 stereo is better sounding than the Aiyima A70 with RCA input? Or indistinguishable, so why spend more? RCA,ASINAD 3dB lower than XLR input, this had been improve in production version. Are you saying the Fosi v3 stereo is better sounding than the Aiyima A70 with RCA input? Or indistinguishable, so why spend more? Would there be an advantage to the ZA3 using RCA inputs over the V3 stereo?
Improved how? Do you have data you can post?RCA,ASINAD 3dB lower than XLR input, this had been improve in production version.
In the case of the biamp, of course. But it is not worth using a biamp at a level below a 3-way speaker. (for example, one path to only one tweeter). If one uses two of these for bi-amping (via rca splitters), would that mean delivering twice the power?
Well in this case the reason is rather financial ( I mean, it would be for Polk R700 towers which dip below 4Ω)In the case of the biamp, of course. But it is not worth using a biamp at a level below a 3-way speaker. (for example, one path to only one tweeter).
I think it will be a pretty perfect solution for them.Well in this case the reason is rather financial ( I mean, it would be for Polk R700 towers which dip below 4Ω)
Getting 2 Aiyimas is way cheaper than getting a hypex
Thanks for your responseI think it will be a pretty perfect solution for them.
The 5A is the same, but with two channels of simultaneous output and a maximum power of 180 W x 2. The inductor is of excellent quality and does not need to be replaced.Since then, has there possibly been a performance measurement for 4 and 8 Ohms with the stick 48V/5A psu?
Could a technically competent person who has examined the panel tell you whether the A70 output filter inductances are of fair quality or should be replaced? Thank you
GaN doesn't do anything for audio quality or performance. Its benefits are about size and power losses in the PSU itself. What about the 10A GaN?
