Probably has been stated elsewhere, but can I confirm that both the V3 and ZA3 will produce more watts at 4 ohms then the A07 Max run in mono?
here are the fosi v3's spec ratings:
hi-guys-planning-to-buy-fosi-audio-v3-specs-of-psu-in-the-v0-106xhskebasb1.jpg

as measured by asr:

fosi za3 ratings ( i couldn't find a za3 rating for 10a p/s):
index.php

as measured by asr (both stereo and mono modes shown here; 48v/5a p/s):

aiyima a07 max, ratings:

aiyima a07 max, asr measured, in stereo:

measured in mono:

per mfr's specs, the a07 max seems to have the edge. none of the amps seem to meet the mfr's specs, but the aiyima seems to fall short the most. i'm wondering if the example asr reviewed was not up to snuff. and maybe it had the 50v caps instead of the later 63v caps, which were updated right around the time of the review?

Hi guys.
Planning to use one of this 07 max in bridge mode to drive a Dayton BST-300EX shaker (4ohms).
Anything else around the same price that may be better?
You think is worth getting the 48v for my usage?

since it's a tactile sensation you're after, and since the shaker is rated 300wrms, i'd say definitely go for the 48v p/s. you might even want to consider this:

i was considering a pair for the two a07 max's i got; one amp each, for my full range drivers and ribbon tweeter speakers, but since they're >95db/1w efficient, i decided the 48v units offered by aiyima would be enough.

how so, quite different? bridged mode, one channel, correct? other than slightly higher noise floor, looks pretty similar to me.

thanks,

So with the aiyima 48v 5a GaN in "bridge" at 4ohms what can I expect to get from this amp?
I'm guessing the fosi 48v 5a (non GaN) is about the same?

i can't answer this for you, but as an aside, fosi told me that the GaN battery won't get you any more power. i suspect the same is true for any GaN battery. it's the amps that give you the power. GaN may be smaller,, perhaps slightly better noise specs... not sure whether or not you'd be able to hear the difference.

I bought a07 max just out of pure curiosity. Sound it's really good and warm I like it. I was wondering if it's normal with 48v 5a to put at least at half volume to feel good volume? Thanks for the help

Polk xt20 speakers

Polk XT20 are 87db sensitive, and normally these should not need too much power to get to decent loudness however it is variable factor.
48v 5a PSU is more than ever needed for many speakers.
