So maybe I need to soften my opinion of Schiit. Their new amps are better than a 23 year old JVC receiver.

I have not discarded any! In my entire life I have maybe sold 2 to 3 pieces of equipment. My plan at some point is to offer them for sale here to fund new equipment to evaluate. And gift the lower cost ones.

I don't know if there is a new version, It's still on the product pages on NAD Web Site (7050).
@Wombat : Yes there is no analogue input, this is a pure digital amplifier the digital signal is directivity amplified, PCM -> PDM -> PWM, If you use a DSD is even better because DSD it's allready a PDM, it jump this step... if you want analogue input you need to use a ADC

Yes I have this one. I was hoping to build a passive filter to more properly test these switching amps. But I might give it a try to see if I can get meaningful data out of them anyway.

I know your SRM-007t is 2-3 times over the limit, but it would be great to see some measurements of a 'stat amp. I've never seen an independent measurement of one anywhere.
