Speaker wire recommendations

Hi,

I was looking to buy new speaker wire going from purifi 6525A amp to Sopra 2 speakers. One run needs to be atleast 17' and the other is like 3'. I was thinking a 12Gauge will provide enough of a dampening factor overhead for this length.

I had always heard great things about Mono price cables (best bang for the buck) until this review...Curious if this CL2 12AWG cable on Amazon is good quality or should I cough up the money and just buy something more reputable like Blue Jean #10 or #12 wire?

As long as it's not CCA (copper clad aluminium) and is actually all copper wire, no problems... copper wire is copper wire, no need for fancy brands.
