Whoa.
1. That touchdown looked jarring.
2. Looks like just enough runway.
Whoa.
That's a great video. She used to fly over our house at 7pm every Sunday on the way to Heathrow Airport . We never tired of going outside to watch. An amazing engineering feat and proof that form follows function (hifi products excepted !)
And maybe never. That's more me saying that due to commercial viability, in addition to thinking that Mach 4.5 is pretty crazy for a commercial passenger plane as a technical achievement.View attachment 371671

" That would be Mach 4.5 then, crazy ! Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird was Mach 3.3, so I don't know how they're gonna do that! "
I'm like you I don't know how they're gonna do that !! I think that the new Concorde will not fly before 2030...
Keep an eye out for OrcsView attachment 371871
I did not know Barad-dûr was in my neigborhood. Out-of-camera jpeg.
If that center building is the new one I think the designer(s) did a fantastic job of creating the feel of angular surfaces with the sharp edges of the stone block building windows aligning with the rampart protrusions and the stone blocks matching the blacked out windows of the skyscraper. It's fantastic but not gaudy.View attachment 373388London seems to have lost any sense of holistic design - just a random collection of new blocks amongst the old buildings of the city. Not sure how I feel about the latest addition ....
It's kinda gothic ...If that center building is the new one I think the designer(s) did a fantastic job of creating the feel of angular surfaces with the sharp edges of the stone block building windows aligning with the rampart protrusions and the stone blocks matching the blacked out windows of the skyscraper. It is... Compare it to The Canada House of Commons (Image rotates and zooms with mouse wheel.) and that has lotsa goth and they mate again with the old castle and the new skyscraper. It's kinda gothic ...
Looks like a reserve car fallen off a SUV.
