I remember in early grade school reading about the little black one the YF11 breaking mach 3. Later renamed the Blackbird or the "flying gas tank". There's one in San Diego's aerospace museum. Nice Pic

This is a view of Montpellier, France...302.000 inhabitants, 156km from where I live... Born in the middle of the Middle Ages, at the beginning of a period of great economic, demographic and cultural growth, it was during its first centuries of existence the very model of medieval success....
There is a small town called Montpellier in the USA next to Canada... I've been there and I've been surprised to be able to talk in French with some people... The Mediterranean Sea is not too far from Montpellier, a few minutes.
what you see in the middle of the image is "the Comedy" a BIG theatre, on the right, the Gaumont Cinéma...

"Ours" has only one "L" - Montpelier. :)
It is an adorable little city -- capital of the state of Vermont (the -- ahem -- "Green Mountain" state. Ver Mont).
Very close to Canada, indeed -- the French part of Canada. ;)

The state capitol building (State House) in Montpelier is the United States' smallest. It, too, is adorable.

(not my photo)

Montpelier suffered substantial flooding last summer (as did much of Vermont and New Hampshire) in a couple of torrential rain storms.
