Same as already answered here, and in the HT Bypass Options thread (https://www.audiosciencereview.com/forum/index.php?threads/home-theatre-bypass-options.9934/).Yeah, same scenario for me......any answer on this?

What part needs further explanation?
I don't know what there is to answer. Yes, if you want to switch two entirely different systems with it, you can.Yeah, same scenario for me......any answer on this?
Stereo. Im gonna connect a DAC and preouts to the front L&R speakers from an AVR.!s it a stereo or mono amp?
Power amps usually only have one input per channel, although some have both an RCA/phono input and an XLR input.
My power amp only has one XLR input but I need two

Please tell us what stereo amp has only one input?Stereo.

I have one, works a charm. Ive actually got a 3 in one out and a 1 in 3 out- multiple DACs to multiple amps! No issues noted. No noise etc.I'm guessing he means one input per channel, but he wants to switch between 2 pre-amp outputs, one from a DAC and one from an AVR.
In which case, I would think that something like the Nobsound MC-103 Pro 3-IN-1-OUT XLR Audio Switcher would be ideal.
Exactly. Would there be a difference between the switch or a Y splitter as in the link i posted?I'm guessing he means one input per channel, but he wants to switch between 2 pre-amp outputs, one from a DAC and one from an AVR.

Possibly. A Y-splitter (actually, a combiner, not a splitter, in your case) parallels the two sources and the impedance drop may affect levels.Exactly. Would there be a difference between the switch or a Y splitter as in the link i posted?
No. Each amp will load/short the output of the other. You need a different switch for this. Can I connect the cable running say from 2 different amps to the same speaker, ultimately the cables meet to the same banana plug?
