What are the differences between the Douk Audio VU3 PRO and the NEOHIPO ET30 Amplifier Speaker Switcher?

Both are available here in the United States on Amazon for the same price.

Douk Audio VU3 PRO
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0DKSVQQ1V

NEOHIPO ET30
https://www.amazon.com/NEOHIPO-Amplifier-Speaker-Switcher-Display/dp/B0CLP33P5D

I am having a hard time figuring out the differences. They appear similar. They also appear to be made by the same company. Are Douk Audio and NEOHIPO the same companies? Which device is newer? Which one is considered better, and for what reasons?. I do see the mic is on the front of one unit and on the back of the other. I also see the knob poisons are different. I am not sure I am seeing all the external difference, let alone internal differences. The bottom line is I am unable to discern anything beyond these that would help me decide which one to purchase. Any help or insights would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you

Astoneroad,
Thank you for the info you pointed me to.

The link for the Douk Audio is I believe for a previous version. They have updraded it to the VU3 Pro version, fixing many of the known issues. I even found a YouTube by Douk Audio that explains the differences to the new latest model and why they made things

When I was trying to decide I was posting virtually any place. I thought I might get an answer. In the end, I ended up doing a whole bunch of research myself and I ended up buying it the NEOHIPO ET30.

My journey to arrive at that decision is documented in another forum which I will link here:

I got my ET30 in the mail today and hope to hook it up in the next few days. I’ll report back here also. Thanks again.

I’ve had the ET30 for some months now .. works well.

Hi all,

The Neohipo et30 has a feature I regard as very important : it resumes operation as soon as you power it, in the same configuration as when switched off.
By comparison, the equivalent device from Fosi audio requires that you press a button, either on the device itself or on its remote control.

In my setup I use a 'master-slave' power strip to power ancillary devices (my cd and BR players, the power amps, and the Neohipo et30).
This is all triggered when the power strip detects power consumption of the 'master', in my case a Denon receiver.
With the Neohipo everything is restored to my preferred operation mode as soon as the receiver turns on.
As I'm very lazy and already have far too many remote controls, this was decisive, and I returned the Fosi device even though it was 30 % less expensive than the Neohipo on Amazon prime day (~120 vs 180 €) and its case is of better quality (no visible screws, single-piece aluminium).

The sensitivity varies depending on the microphone input.

Even if we don't understand the words, I want people to feel something.

I need to choose among both, and now I know the VU NEOHIPO ET30 does not work with the 2 pairs of speakers simoultanously (1+2) or the cassic mode A+B speakers , but I wonder ir the Douk Audio V3Pro could switch the speakers to the classic A+B mode, that is, simultaneously 1+2 (2 pairs of speakers) on the device with every amp.

Does anyone knows if this is possible with the Douk audio V3pro ?

manual for douk v3 pro shows you can use two speakers at the same time but only 1 amp at the same time.
