Don't think speakers done in various auto paint finishes will ever be attractive to me.
I'm too locked into the old-school wood look.
Same with my firearms, I'll pass on all the modern tupperware stuff.
Give me some beautiful walnut stocks & grips.

They are very nice, I actually preferred them to some Magicos in the same setup. Would love to see spinorama measurements. The Blue looks brilliant in person

Ha, been there.
Here's mine when they were new, with my awesome Dobe, Max guarding them.
l later I used a walnut stain and Tung Oil to finish them, not too well I must admit.
Those were the days, new 1978 La Scala's in the raw for $500 each.
Like the good ole days in cars, when you could order a new base (cheapest) model, even delete the radio and heater
to really save, but include the biggest highest performance engine, driveline package to go fast.
Today if you want the ultra performance engine package, you have to also pay for the ultra priced model to get it.

A Warwick does not fit this speaker at all, should have used at least a Status Graphite foe the photo...

These are very popular now and the main competitor for Function One in high end high power systems for electronics music, the Void Acoustics Incubus system
I don't know if beautifull is the right word, but they are special in appeareance, where form follows function an other time. They are very flashy in design altough. I prefer Function 1, but mainly for the looks as on sound they are on the same level...

My dad has a pair just like that, rescued from some bar. Apparently they were hung from the ceiling as part of their stage PA.
I hate it when companies flip the negative for a visual pair. The one on the right is a flipped negative of the one on the right. I know this due to the cone wood's pattern, the etched words on the trim rings, and the flipped Focal logo.

There are occasions when i rather like a stunning visual pair. Cheesy or not.
I like the speakers. It is cheesy for promo material to use a mirror image of the same speaker to represent a pair. Especially when it’s so obvious, as pointed out by another contributor, that the logo and focal name are backwards as well on the one on the right.
