Tried it with my windows 10 laptop today and the noise is at least 10x worse for some reason. Almost unusable and worse than any onboard audio I've ever heard.

I wonder why it performs so much better off of a mobile device.
Was your laptop charging when you tested the Lifeme?

If so, try without a charger.

seems strange... You sure it didn't activate some Windows audio "enhancements" on the device?

All I did was plug it in. And laptop was running off battery power, not charging.

Can you check under advanced audio properties of the device if any of these are available and active?

I suggest select Disable all.

There is not even a tab for enhancements. There is one for spatial sound but it is disabled.

Ok, then I can't tell :(
So I tried this again on the same laptop using a USB C-to-A adapter and the noise is now the same as when used with my phone, much less than when using the laptops USB-C port. Not sure what the deal with that is. It is a charging port as well as data so perhaps that has something to do with it.

I'm pretty happy about this because I plan to keep one in my backpack with a pair of 7hz zeros w/ mic to use for tutoring appointments at my college.
