Anybody have one of these? Seems like a cool idea by Genelec that is no longer available. Was to be used to set up monitors/determine room boundary cancellations etc.

There's a Taiwanese retailer that supposedly still has these in stock:

300 bucks a pop, lol.

A very generous Genelec rep gave me one at a fair once after I told him I had issues with my monitor-room combination. It's pretty neat, I use it as a regular tape measure as well a lot of the time since it has metric and imperial on the other side of the tape.

A handy little item I would be happy to pay for use with my Genelecs, if made available.

I wan't one with peel and stick decals like the Texas Instruments LED wristwatch I had in the late 80's.

*cough* Revel :p

Looks like it'd be $10 a pop plus a little extra for the setup fee and presumably taxes and shipping? Count me in.
Minimizing shipping will be the trick, could easily be more than $10 for the shipping. Probably will be helpful if the printing company can do the shipping, they will tend to have discounts.

I can do the artwork / design for the tape if nobody else is eager to take it on.

Does not mention that you can also have a custom measuring strip with your own markings though?
From the product images it's clear that they have the ability to print on the tapes and not just the housing... whether there's an extra fee for non-standard measures, who knows.

Now that I'm looking more closely I'm not so sure. I don't see anything that shows custom printing on the tape. I'm shooting them an email to find out for sure.

I'd buy one.

Hmm, yeah now that I look at it again it seems like most of the tapes have standard measures and a little blank area for the logo.

Can't immediately find any that explicitly offer custom TAPE as opposed to just a logo...
