Studio Monitor Question

I have a small home studio and for a while been mixing with headphones. Had decent success. Last year l connected the SVS Prime Pro Powered Speakers I had and while they are pleasant they are not monitors. I like the Genelec 8030/G3 and the Mackie HR624. While I’ve never heard the Genelec they get great reviews and I did hear the Mackies years ago in their Mk1 version at a Guitar Center and enjoyed their sound. Now there is no way to actually hear these two monitors so does anyone have experience comparing these two brands. They are pretty close in price especially the G3 and Mackie.
