What's wrong with XLR?No AES/EBU in/out while boasting about pairing with active speakers???

not yetNo Roon?
You didn't need the Master Edition either.Don't need the additional digital and analogue inputs and the Screen to front panel ratio seems a bit off so I got nothing to worry about.
Yes, but the Orange knob looks betterYou didn't need the Master Edition either.
AES is usually on XLRs, just a higher voltage of s/pdif.What's wrong with XLR?
Indeed.Yes, but the Orange knob looks better
Off the subject - DSP function requires digital in.What's wrong with XLR?
Oh, yes. Several times. In each case except the first time, unwillingly.(Haggis is delicious. Have you tried it?)

Had plenty of times, including breakfast. Still alive.Oh, yes. Several times. In each case except the first time, unwillingly.
I dont understand those that cannot understandI don't understand why anyone would be excited about spending $2,000 for a streamer. Nor why people prefer a screen on the device over using a smartphone or tablet to control a device that doesn't have a display. Or why they prefer a dumb remote control over using that smartphone for control.
Then again, I don't understand the popularity of haggis, heavy metal music or pickleball. Shrug.
Yes, indeed. But my point, maybe unclear, was about digital in to use DSP feature. AES/EBU in/out has a huge advantage over coaxial/optical in some situations. But the speakers will be XLR out, not in.

If you have AES/EBU and XLR inputs available on your monitors, why would you deliberately choose an ADC step if you can avoid it?
If you think of using this DAC with USB in and XLR out to feed a power amplifier connected to passive speakers, then it's all fine.
The AK7739VQ is a highly integrated digital signal processor, including a 24-bit stereo ADC ..Off the subject - DSP function requires digital in.
Maybe it's a pair of glasses you need:
